Learning How To Deal With Guilt; Experiencing A Life Set Free in Just Ten Days!
Ever thought about what it might be to enjoy a life free of guilt where there is no horrifying sense of regret and remorse continually lingering in the recesses of your mind? Guilt is a difficult problem for numerous individuals and the way to handle guilt is a gurey asked by many individuals.
Rather than questioning how one can deal with their guilt, perhaps a better question might be "How do I get rid of my guilt?" If a person really wishes to live life out from under its clutches. Coping has the feeling of skating by or simply surviving the situation. It does not have feelings of liberation. It still implies you are beneath some kind of burden.
Getting rid of guilt is doable but not thru any program, treatment or any practice invented by any one. Guilt is the results of your sin, which is acting, saying or thinking something that's in contrast to what God wants us to believe. That's not a legalistic approach to life, but rather selecting to live or not live according to the principles set forth in Gods Word, which surely leads to real joy, freedom and a calmness. Living your life in contradiction to the Bible is certainly sin, which ends up in guilt. In the book of Romans, chapter one, it says we are made with a built in awareness of God and His attributes and making an attempt to put a shroud over the truth will not alter it.
The worst thing about your sin, that leads to having guilt, is that it removes us from our Heavenly Father. That separation, if not restored, leads to spiritual death and separation from Him forever . Fortunately, God desires all broken relationships to be restored and has given a way for reconciliation. It takes place when one believes that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be crucified as a sacrifice for their sins and acknowledge their desperate need for God's Son's sacrifice. Thru Jesus cruel death on the cross, Jesus enables for any person who believes to get God's forgiveness of all their sin, regardless of how great or little. God alone is wanting to pardon (officially release from any punishment i.e, never-ending death) and forgive all who request and believe. Once forgiven, we are now not guilty for He pardons our transgressions and removes the guilt of our sins. He does this because of His great love for us and His want that we live forgiven and set free from the guilt that exhausts and weighs us down.
Does that suggest we will not continue doing things that drive us to guilt? Definitely not, but God says when that happens if we confess our sins, He's trustworthy and just to pardon each of us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 19.
There's no reason for this guilt to weigh you down any more, not when God, the only One with the power to forgive, is ready and waiting and excited to pardon you and set you free.
