The Recorder $3.99 The hunger for revenge pushes four "nerds" to plot against a despicable gang of bullies that have tormented them since first grade. Now that they have entered high school, they intend on stopping the bullies in their tracks and stand up for themselves once and for all. At the risk of severe retaliation, the nerds scheme to catch the bullies in the act and expose them to authorities with the help of a small tape recorder. When one of their friends is found beaten and unconscious on the bathroom floor, "The Recorder" comes into play. The only problem is, the tape is now missing and their entire case is based on the taped evidence. Will they find the tape and get the bullies convicted? Or will the bullies beat them at their own game? A truly exceptional read that demonstrates bravado, smarts and courage. Author, Coco is a seasoned writer who has written several books. His inspiration for this book came from his personal experiences with bullies when he was in middle school. His days of being bullied ended when he stood up to them. In high school he made sure there weren’t any bullies to hurt those he called friends, and who others called nerds. He hopes that this book helps all kids in their struggles with bullies, and that it gives them the courage they need to stand up for themselves and not be victims. Coco lives in Ocala, Florida with his family. |
