Play Blackjack Games Online For Free
If you would like to try out blackjack either online or in a real casino, then my suggestion would be to try it for free before you do anything else. There are a few reasons as to why I feel like this, which I will now speak about.
For starters, the game of blackjack is quite a complex one, and when it comes to player options there are several things to learn. There are a few different options for each hand that you are dealt and it is best to know the meaning of each one.
You will use the options hit and stand most, when you hit you want another card and when you don’t want any more you stand. Surrender, insurance, split and double are the other options that you will see.
Playing free blackjack games is also a good option because you will be able to practice blackjack strategy on them. A solid blackjack strategy has two sides to it – wagering and decision making.
The decision making is actually pretty easy once you know what you’re doing because you just use what’s called basic strategy. This is just a simple card that for every single card combination will tell you what to do, making it really simple. If you go along with what the basic strategy card recommends to you, the house edge will go down to under 1% which is great.
Wagering which means how much you’re going to bet on each hand can be a little more difficult because you’re on your own. There are a few different methods that you can use, like flat betting which is where you bet the same amount for each hand that there is.
The problem with flat betting is that the house edge will just eat away at your bankroll over the long term of play. To get around this you can use a progressive system such as the D’Alembert or the Martingale where you increase your bets after each loss.
The problem with these though is that one losing run can set you back a long way and this is why playing for free first of all is vital. This will allow you to experience all of the ups and downs of wagering and you will know what suits you best when it comes time to play a real money game.
